Missouri minimum wage won’t increase on Jan. 1, 2016 »

In November, the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations announced the state minimum wage will remain at $7.65 per hour for 2016. The minimum cash wage paid to employees who receive tips will remain at the present $3.825 per hour, or one-half of the minimum wage.

Important: Contact Missouri Legislators Today (Voting on 09/16/2015) »

As it has twice previously, Missouri Restaurant Association implores all members to contact their state senator and representative and ask them to keep Missouri open for business and protect jobs for Missouri citizens by voting “YES” to override Governor Jay Nixon’s veto of House Bill 722. The vote on the veto override will occur on Wednesday, September 16. A two-thirds majority is required in both the Missouri House and Senate to override. The vote will be extremely close.
